The Acceleration Program helps athletes to determine their maximum agility, strength, endurance and anaerobic thresholds, and customizes training programs based on their individual abilities.
Pricing and Program
The price for the Acceleration Program is $425.00 per athlete. A discounted price of $400.00 applies for groups (consisting of three or more athletes). The program includes the following:
- 8-10 week program
- 25 sessions
- Metabolic testing
- Pre- and post-test
Thorough Assessment Series Designed To Optimize Training Outcomes:
- 40-yard and 10-yard dash
- Pro Agility (5-10-5 Shuttle Run)
- Vertical Jump
- Flexibility
- Treadmill Pre-test – Unique to the Jordan Valley Medical Center Acceleration Program, this test determines the athlete’s maximum heart rate, 2-minute recovery heart rate, anaerobic threshold and maximal oxygen consumption (VO2 Max).
- Treadmill Pre-test – Also unique to the Jordan Valley Medical Center Acceleration Program, this test determines the optimal training curriculum for the athlete.
Customized Training Programs Based on Individual Test Performance:
- High-speed Treadmill Training – The result of the athlete’s test will place them into one of 32 specialized speed training programs.
- Plyometric Training – Using plyometric principles, specific training is used to increase the athlete’s overall power and explosiveness.
- Agility Training – Training that focuses on the athlete’s foot speed, quickness, and reaction time — all crucial elements for beating the competition.
- Core Stability Training – Strength training that develops balance and stability vital to the athlete’s overall speed.
